Compatibility
DFUBlast targets compatible Apple Silicon and supported Intel T2 Mac recovery scenarios, subject to the actual automation mechanism, host hardware, USB-C ports and macOS versions.
Before operating
- Use a compatible host Mac and reliable data-capable USB-C cable.
- Connect through the correct DFU port for the specific target model.
- Review the tested model compatibility matrix when published.
- Do not assume an automated DFU procedure works for every Mac.
The original DFU code has not yet been certified against a public list of Mac models. Do not claim universal support before completing hardware testing.
